New Delhi: 'Lakshaya: EK Living Planet' is not meant to entertain, but to educate and to create awareness about environmental issues, says its host Niret Alva.
'Lakshaya: EK Living Planet' is a 26-episode environment series that went on air in January on Doordarshan.
"The show is logical...Through the show, we are trying to join the dots on issues related to environment. It is not meant for entertainment, but yes, we have tried to keep the viewing short and crisp," Alva, a well-known television personality and chairman of Miditech Pvt Ltd, told IANS.
