Having worked with India’s national public radio broadcaster, All India Radio (AIR), for 26 years, R.Venkateswarlu retired on Jan 31 as Director General, a position he only took over three months ago.
Venkateshwarlu started his career with AIR in 1988 as the youngest station director of his time.
Over the years, he won appreciation for his initiatives in the realm of content creation, human resource development and revenue generation, say local media.
