Media is much more than just DD, AIR & print, Arun Jaitley says

NEW DELHI: Taking additional charge of the information and broadcasting (I&B) ministry, finance minister Arun Jaitley said the media had expanded beyond the public broadcaster and the government would look into the changed "information process scenario". 

Jaitley, who was I&B minister under A B Vajpayee in 1999, took charge of the ministry from Prakash Javadekar on Monday. The new portfolios were announced late on Sunday night after President Pranab Mukherjee's approval.
