DD Bharati to showcase mosaic collection of regional movies
Exploring new avenues to retain discerning viewers and to keep competition from privately-owned channels at bay, national cultural channel DD Bharati has announced plans to showcase a mosaic collection of regional movies.
The channel will also seek to revive archival and new programmes from its collection.
On November 8, a movie in Malayalam titled Athnakatha will be telecast. A week later, Marathi movie Ek Cup Chya will be shown. Telecast timings are 6.30 p.m., and repeated the next day at 2.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m.
