DD Freedish adds six channels to satellite bouquet

India's public television broadcaster Doordarshan has added six channels to its free-to-air (FTA) satellite service DD Freedish.

India TV, ABP News, Focus News, Cinema TV, 9XM and Maha Movies have been added to the DD Freedish direct-to-home satellite bouquet in November. Six other channels – Zee Smile, 9X, India News, News24, Sahara Samay, News Nation UP/UT, Gyandarsshan 1 and Gyandarshan2 – are no longer carried on the service after their annual contracts came to an end.
