GM crops: Prakash Javadekar emphasizes on proper caution

New Delhi: Amid a row over field trials of genetically modified (GM) crops in the country, Union environment minister Prakash Javadekar on Wednesday emphasized on "proper caution" but said "nobody can say no to science". "Yesterday (on Tuesday), somebody asked me about the field trials of GM crops. I have said we are not saying no to science. Nobody can say no to science. We have to take proper caution. We have to take proper action.
