MUMBAI: The ministry of information and broadcasting (MIB) has advised applicants of multi-system operator (MSO) licence for digital addressable system (DAS) area not to entertain individuals who are making false promises of providing MSO licence. These applicants should deal directly with the ministry. The advisory was issued after it came to the ministry's notice that some people are approaching MSO applicants with false claims of providing licences and demanding some gratifications/bribe to get the work done.
