A Naat competition was held in the studios of Doordarshan Kendra (DDK) Srinagar in which 13 young boys participated and recited Naat.
The function was presided over by Retd Justice Bashir Ahmad Kirmani.
Deputy Director General Doodarshan Kendra Shabir Mujahid, Senior Program Officer G D Tahir, Editor Rising Kashmir Shujaat Bukhari and others were present on the occasion.
Ghulam Hassan Gamgin and Qari Ali Mohammad acted as judges.
Mohammad Iqbal Gulzar bagged the first, Afaq Shafi second and Aamir Ali Gaazi bagged the third position. They were given Tafseer of Holy Quran and a cash prize sponsored by Rahim Motors.
