NEW DELHI: Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar feels Medium Wave (MW) frequency of Akashvani should be converted to FM, as a majority of radio sets catch only FM signals these days.
"Telecast of Doordarshan will be made mandatory on every direct to home and cable network, "according to Javadekar.
Speaking at a press meet in Ahmedabad, Javadekar said his aim was to make Doordarshan and All India Radio the first choice of viewers.
