The Delhi High Court in India has ruled that sports broadcaster ESPN has to share live signals of cricket matches with public broadcaster Doordarshan without broadcasting advertisements. The problem arose in April of this year when Prasar Bharti, which is the umbrella organisation that Doordarshan comes under, had said that it was not in a position to air signals that it deemed unclean.
The Delhi High Court in a statement has said, "Whosoever airs a live television broadcast of.................................
