NEW DELHI: The Doordarshan revamp that started with much fanfare is in danger of ending in a whimper. Six months after his colleague Ajai Shukla quit citing lack of autonomy, NewsNight editor Sanjeev Srivastava resigned from the public broadcaster on Tuesday.
Srivastava, who was earlier BBC India editor, confirmed the move saying, "I have put in my papers at DD. I am moving to another news organization." He, however, refused to comment any further.
