NEW DELHI: On a day Kerala governor Sheila Dikhshit became the eighth governor to put in her papers since the Narendra Modi-led government came to power three months ago, information and broadcasting minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday said the Centre does not believe in bitterness in politics, but it is proper for political appointees to resign from their posts on their own.
Javadekar denied any perception that the new regime is busy moving people out of their posts. No one has been moved out by this government, only in case of political appointees, they should resign on their own. They should go by their own conscience and resign themselves, he told TOI during an interaction on Tuesday.
