First radio broadcast in India commemorated in Odisha capital

Leading social organisation 'Outreach', in association with Community Radio Association east zone, organised a function at the Red Cross Bhavan Seminar Hall at Bhubaneswar on Wednesday to commemorate the 87th anniversary of the first radio broadcast in India.

IMG_5840The first radio broadcast took place in Mumbai by a radio club way back on July 23, 1927.
