DD Film Fest Draws Crowds

HYDERABAD: The first day of the Doordarshan's 'Best of Indian Cinema' film festival at Prasad Labs Preview Theatre, Banjara Hills here on Saturday, attracted audience from the film industry and the students alike.

"Doordarshan constantly strives to bridge the gap between the commercial cinema and parallel cinema. Even for producers like us, Doordarshan is the first thing that comes to mind when we think of watching a classic art film," Dr. D Ramanaidu, who was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony, said.
