India's state-owned public radio broadcaster All India Radio (AIR) could soon see a revamp, reports the daily The Hindu.
New Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar made the comments at GoaFest 2014.
He said the new government would "re-energise" and "put air" into the channel and bring back its lost glory.
Although hugely popular in many parts of the country, commentators says AIR has failed to keep up with India's dynamic private FM industry.
