Aizawl (Mizonews.Net): The North East Traditional Music Festival organised by All India Radio (AIR), Aizawl, was successfully held here today.
The cultural event, the first of its kind, was held at Vanapa Hall – the largest auditorium in Aizawl.
Cultural troupes comprising of singers, musicians and performing artistes from all the seven states – Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura, except Sikkim, participated and showcased their traditional musical instruments, their traditional dances and songs.
