With the SSLC examinations slated to begin on Monday, the State Institute of Educational Technology (SIET) has come out with special educational programmes to be telecast on Doordarshan on all exam days.
Since the SSLC exams are held in the afternoon session, the programmes will be aired on Doordarshan’s terrestrial service on all exam days from 6 am to 7 am. “Each day’s programme will focus on that particular day’s subject and a model question paper will be discussed,” SIET director Babu Sebastian said. “Experts in each subject will take classes and analyse the previous years’ question pattern during the one-hour special programme,” he said. A total of 4.64 lakh candidates will appear for the SSLC examination slated to be held from March 10 to 22. The exam will be held in 2,815 centres across Kerala, Lakshadweep and the Gulf region.
