Srinagar, Sept 05: Launched with much fanfare and still bigger promises some 13 years back, Doordarshan's 'Kashmir Channel' has proved nothing but a "forbidden fruit" for the local television professionals.
Left high and dry by the Prasar Bharati Broadcasting Corporation of India (PBBCI) authorities, local production houses say they have made a mortal mistake by heeding the promises that were made with them.
